天涯社区 is dedicated to fostering open, two-way communication with our community. Surveys play a crucial role in this effort, providing us with valuable insights into your experiences and needs. Your feedback directly influences how we enhance the quality of the supports and services we offer.
The surveys throughout the year are:
1. Annual Survey
The Annual Survey tells us what is important to our families, students and staff. Your feedback is essential in helping the District identify areas where we are excelling and areas where we need to improve.聽 Some of the survey topics include:
- Parent/guardian engagement
- The teaching and learning environment at your child鈥檚 school
- Bullying
- Homework
- Mental health and student stress levels
- School climate
- Your child鈥檚 overall educational experience
The Annual Survey is available in multiple languages and responses are anonymous.
2. Transportation Survey
California school districts are required to develop transportation plans each year and receive feedback from stakeholders.
The plan must describe transportation services currently offered by the district, focusing on the following:
- Prioritizing students in Transitional Kindergarten through Grade 6 and low-income students
- Accessibility for students with disabilities and homeless youth
- Providing free transportation to unduplicated pupils (students who are low socio-economic, English learners, or foster youth)
The survey is available in multiple languages.
3. Calendar Survey
Each year, 天涯社区 teachers, classified staff, and administrators work together to develop school calendars for the years ahead, for both traditional and year-round schools. While instruction and learning are the primary considerations, this group also considers past history, tradition, and feedback from the community.
4. Communications Survey
Questions focus on understanding how effectively we engage with the 天涯社区 community and identifying areas for improvement in our messaging, communications and content accessibility.聽
We appreciate your participation and are committed to using your input to drive continuous improvement and better serve our students, families, and staff.
