For information regarding your student's eligibility for transportation services, please contact your student鈥檚 case manager (school site psychologist).

To establish services for a student, the Transportation Department receives a request from the Special Education Department. 聽Upon receipt of the transportation request, services will begin according to the following timelines:

  • Beginning of school year (first 2-3 months): approximately 10-15 business days
  • After the first three months of school: approximately 5-7 business days

Yes, after five (5) consecutive days of no-call/no-show, your student will be placed on hold.聽 To remove the hold and resume services, please contact the Transportation Department:

Yes, if your student will not be utilizing car service, please cancel service in one of the following ways:聽

App: Access the car service app and cancel through the app

To keep the bus on schedule for a timely arrival to school, there is no grace period in the morning. Please be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before departure to ensure your student makes it on the bus.

Yes, transportation services must be requested annually.聽 A link to an electronic transportation form will be emailed to parents at the end of every school year; this form must be completed to request services each school year.聽

For your student to be self-released, you must submit a signed and dated written approval.

Note: 聽An authorized parent or guardian must meet Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students at the bus stop; Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students may not be self-released.
